Pipp Mobile provides a free floor plan design. We can do this several different ways depending on what meets your needs. The preferred method is through AutoCAD files provided by architects.
However, with some basic room information, we can provide an AutoCAD drawing of the space. We request a basic drawing of the room notating wall dimensions, ceiling height, columns, electrical panels, and other items that may hinder us from applying shelving or shelving installation to an area.
Our experienced account managers will expertly incorporate floor plan design to optimize the stock room in the most cost-effective way possible, while maximizing the available space for storage solutions and commercial storage. They will take into consideration what is being stored, the flow of the room, and the amount of accessibility to effectively manage the storage system.
The end design will include a drawing of the stock room with shelving labeled for the various stock items, track dimensions, and a capacity analysis to illustrate the gain from traditional stock shelving and high-density mobile shelving.
Pipp Mobile provides a capacity analysis on all drawings. The capacity analysis can be expressed in a variety of different ways to meet your needs. The most common form is through linear feet of shelves or filing inches. In place of a generic capacity analysis, Pipp can provide a customer-specific analysis based on specific product information upon request (i.e., number of shoe boxes, garments, or files being stored).

The Seismic Analysis for a project located within a Seismic Zone is prepared, signed, and stamped by a licensed engineer. The cost includes the preparation of the seismic calculations and sending them to the appropriate parties. The cost does not include permit fees, application fees, or any other fees associated with the filing of the permit. Permit filing and any other fees associated with the permit are the responsibility of the General Contractor or a Permit Expeditor service.
Pipp isn’t able to provide the filing service because our installation companies are not required to carry a state contractor’s license or a city business license for the city we are providing the installation services. If a city business license is a project requirement, the installation company will be able to obtain a license with adequate advance notice.Â
The installer’s time on a project is relatively quick in the overall construction of the store, which does not allow them the time necessary for permit filing, corrections (if necessary), and acquiring documents. Installers are typically on-site for 1 to 2 days.
