Flat Track

Flat Track System is an alternative to our standard V-Groove track. The Flat Track maintains the standard features of our V-Groove track and incorporates the same ease of installation. The Flat Track is manufactured with a low profile and tapered sides eliminating tripping hazards and making it easy for carts and other equipment to be moved in and out of the aisle. The Flat Track is available with our built-in In-Track Anti-Tip safety feature.

All track is ADA compliant unless otherwise stated. All track is cut to specific lengths based on the project. Pipp carriages require a track under each shelving upright.

Key Features & Options:

Heavy Duty Flat Track

Heavy Duty Flat Track is less than 3-1/4” wide, 1/2” at its highest point and is made from aluminum. It has a flat steel insert that is 3/4” wide. This track will eliminate debris in the groove. There is no adjustability within the track for this style but this track can be leveled through shimming. This track can be used with the Heavy Duty Manual Carriage and the Mechanical-Assist Carriage.

V-Groove Track System

The V-Groove Track System is a floor mounted track with the ability to be installed on a variety of different surfaces. The low profile design and the tapered sides eliminates tripping hazards and makes it easy for carts and other equipment to be moved in and out of the aisle. The installation of the tracks is very easy with minimal anchoring. The V-Groove track is ADA compliant and is available with our built-in In-Track Anti-Tip safety feature.

Adjustable Standard Manual V-Groove Track

Adjustable Standard Manual V-Groove Track is just over 3-1/4” wide, less than 7/16” at its highest point and is made from heat treated aluminum. This adjustable track has set screws which allow for a 1/4” of leveling if needed and is available with flat or carpet “grabbing” underlayment. This track can be used with the Standard Manual Carriage.

Non-Adjustable Standard Manual V-Groove Track

Non-Adjustable Heavy Duty Manual V-Groove Track is less than 2-3/4” wide, 1/2” at its highest point, and is made from heat-treated aluminum. There is no adjustability within the track for this style but this track can be leveled through shimming. This track provides a price-competitive heavy-duty track option and can be used with the Standard Manual Carriage. The Non-Adjustable Heavy Duty Manual V-Groove Track is compatible with all In-Track Anti-Tip Tracks.

Secured Tracking

In-Track Anti-Tip Track

Safety feature that is available on all of our track systems which stabilizes the mobile shelving system and eliminates the potential for a tipping hazard. The In-Track Anti-Tip Track is a 5.34″ wide, 0.5″ high, precipitation-hardened aluminum track with no adjustability, designed for use with carriages featuring an In-Track Anti-Tip tab. It includes a slot specifically for the anti-tip tab. The EZ-Track Anti-Tip system comprises an EZ-Track base and an anti-tip arm that travels along the base to prevent shelving from tipping. When the carriage tips, the arm engages the base rail. The EZ-Track base is installed directly under stationary and mobile storage units, secured to the carriage with corner plate screws, and is not recommended for units over 88-1/4″ tall.

In-Track Anti-Tip Track

In-Track Anti-Tip is 5.34″ wide, .5” at its highest point, and is made from precipitation hardened aluminum. There is no adjustability within the track for this style. The ITAT Track is specifically designed to be used with our carriages with the In-Track Anti-Tip tab. The track has a slot in the track where the anti-tip tab is located. Available as both Standard and Heavy Duty options.

EZ-Track Anti-Tip

EZ-Track Anti-Tip consists of an EZ-Track base with an EZ-Track carriage anti-tip arm which prevents shelving from tipping. The EZ-Track anti-tip arm is free to travel in the EZ-Track base as the carriage is moved along the track. If the carriage begins to tip, the arm immediately engages the base rail. Installed, the EZ-Track base is secured by being positioned directly under the rear stationary storage units and mobile storage unit secured to the carriage by attaching the unit to the carriage corner plates using supplied attaching screws. Not recommended for units exceeding 88-1/4” in height.
